Preschool (3+)
Tuition:
If your family is not eligible for free, part-day preschool, the tuition is $650 monthly, regardless of income.

Schedule:
Monday — Friday from 8:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m.
and after-school care is available from 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Pro: This is the earliest enrollment available offered by public school district. Though not completely free, it is a big saving compare to commercial daycares starting at $2,000/m.
Con: August-May term, have to locate summer camps for transition
Tip: Apply early, took me one and a half year to get a seat available.
Transitional Kindergarten(4+)

8:15 am — 1:45 pm
Transitional kindergarten is free, full day
Pro: Completely free as part of the government benefit.
Con: TK is only available at local public schools, not available for choice school. Kids can only participate in lottery starting in K.
